Volunteer t-shirts were passed out last night – and the volunteers are ready and raring to go this weekend! But we still need more help, particularly with the carnival games on Saturday. Go to the volunteer page and sign up online or contact Bill Pollard if you are able to help! We need you!
Then be sure to make plans to be at the north end of the Sam Wise Sports Complex this Friday night and all day Saturday!
Friday – from 5 to 11 pm – featuring a Wine Garden ($10 admission) from 5 to 8 and the live band, Faculty Lounge, playing from 8 to 11 pm. It’s Community Night with local non-profits as the vendors!
Saturday - from 7 am to midnight – is packed with fun! Pancake Breakfast, Softball Tournament, Mud Volleyball, huge Car Show, Golf Tournament at Terrace Hills, Bingo, Inflatables and Carnival games, Altoona Library Free Family Fun Zone, Kids Karaoke, and then back to back bands starting at 4:30 pm – featuring LB Cake, Fret Noise and Toaster.

Altoona Palooza is going to be even bigger and better than last year. But we can’t make it GREAT without our volunteers! Please help us get the word out and enlist your family and friends. A big shout out to all that worked on the Altoona Palooza float that was in the Prairie Meadows Parade on Saturday, August 6th! After all the hard work, and throwing candy and Altoona Palooza souvenirs, the float came in 2nd Place! So much fun!!
