The 3rd Annual Altoona Palooza is set for August 25, 2012!!
Come enjoy the fun times at the 2012 Altoona Palooza, held at the north end of Sam Wise Sports Complex!
When the city of Altoona announced support of the 2010 inaugural city-wide event – Altoona Palooza – plans moved forward and it was an awesome time! Many, many hours of planning and organizing by 100s of volunteers made the 2010 & 2011 events great! Approximately 4,000 people attended the 2010 event and over 5,000 attended the 2011 event, creating a positive buzz in the community!
Both the 2010 and 2011 events were jam-packed with fun for the entire family! Inflatables; huge car shows; mud volleyball; softball tournaments; bingo; back-to-back bands including a beer/beverage garden – and lots of food and service vendors! Terrace Hills Golf Course hosted special golf tournaments to help celebrate the event. The 2011 event brought a new addition – the Wine Garden!
With the success of two years of Altoona Palooza, we’re going to hold the event again in 2012! Plan to bring your lawn chairs and blankets – and celebrate with us as we create a rich community tradition!
